AUTOMATIC ABOVE GROUND POOL FILLER...Got tired of overfilling my pool. This clamps on the edge of the pool using a toilet float, as my 16mm x 16mm metal lip is hidden by plastic "beauty" pieces. The filler sits nicely under the beauty panel top plates. I used galvanized pipe for now but highly recommend using PVC, with holes for the pipe and float being 23.4 mm (3/4" EMT). Once you determine your desired water level, cut your PVC pipe even with the top bracket - I still need to do this myself. I didn't use the mid-clamp, unsure if it's actually necessary, but I made it anyway. This project may set you back $20 USD as of August 2018. Screw holes are 4mm and I used self-threading screws. The "auto_fill_top_V3" design is specific to my pool with a 16 x 16 mm edge. Use a thick shell setting if you need to drill out holes for your bolts or pipe, using 1.6mm shell. P.S. The pictures are of an older clamp that wasn't strong enough, so I made an improved, stronger, and more compact top clamp - it's posted in the files. You're on your own with plumbing since there are several ways to do it. Maybe someone has this same pool frame and can use this auto filler...
