a-26 Counter Invader The A-26 was a versatile aircraft that served during WW2 as an A-26, but after the Marauder's retirement, it transformed into the B-26, only to revert back to the A-26 heavy attack aircraft due to Thailand's refusal to allow bombers on their soil during 'Nam. This model is based on the 1966 A-26A variant without national markings and was flown by the 609th SOS "Nimrods," which engaged in intense combat along the Ho Chi Minh trail from 1966 to 1969, until AC-130s took over that mission. The CIA also utilized these planes for clandestine operations. The model is created in full dimensions using Blender 2.79b and scaled down to 1/100 for the STL file. To prepare for printing, it's recommended to scale down the model to 35% in the slicer. For reference, standard 15mm dice are used as a size comparison. If the design cannot be printed successfully, it will not be posted.
