This is a precise replica of a 30mm shell utilized in the A-10 Warthog aircraft. The casing and bullet are printed independently, then slide together smoothly. Due to scaling issues in Cura, I enlarged the bullet to a diameter of 33.045mm, and the casing diameter was adjusted accordingly. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 40 Notes: Touching buildplate supports were employed. This resulted in a print time of just over 12 hours. I created this design using scaled images of 30x173mm shells within Fusion 360 software.
