9v Battery Slider Case

9v Battery Slider Case

thingiverse

I required a basic 9-volt battery enclosure that would slide lock in place, holding a larger plastic-style cap securely. This design is intended to be remixed and used in other projects, keeping it fairly simple. It prevents the battery from shifting around even when using slimmer flexible style 9v caps, making it an easy print for any 3D printer model. In the spirit of Hacktoberfest, I aimed to release this project for others to remix as they see fit. This case does not dictate where wire holes should be placed, allowing users to decide instead. Rather than including pre-designed holes in the bottom or back, I opted to leave them out to make it easier to customize for various projects. Built using FreeCAD, the step files and STL files are also included for easy download. You can access the original CAD files at https://github.com/jwilliamsnephos/9vBatterySliderCase
