9V Battery Case

9V Battery Case

thingiverse

This is a customizable storage box designed specifically for 9V batteries. The uploaded STL file accommodates a 4 x 3 configuration, allowing it to store 12 batteries at once. To ensure a snug fit despite the slight variation in battery sizes, a buffer has been added around each battery in both X and Y dimensions. This buffer was determined by measuring multiple batteries and choosing the largest as the standard size. The uploaded STL file was created using the following parameters: * Battery width: 17 units * Battery length: 26 units * Battery height: 48.75 units * Number of batteries wide: 4 * Number of batteries long: 3 * Inner wall thickness: 1.32 units (calculated by multiplying line count and line width) * Outer wall thickness: 2.64 units (calculated by multiplying line count and line width) * Bottom thickness: 2.64 units (calculated by multiplying line count and line height) * Height percentage: 50% * Tolerance: 0.5 units This tolerance value can be adjusted as needed to achieve a secure fit for the batteries. Increasing this value will provide more space around each battery, while decreasing it will result in a tighter fit.
