9mm Wide GT2 Belt Idler Pulley for MPCNC

WORK IN PROGRESS - NOT TESTED Intended to replace the fender washer and speed washer, allowing use of 9mm wide GT2 belt on the MPCNC. Initial test failed due to several issues. 1) Requires ~2mm standoff washer between bearing and roller mount to function properly. 2) ABS shrunk dramatically during printing, necessitating a re-print with an ID of 24mm to fit 22mm bearings. 3) Raise IdlerOD to bearingOD+4 for optimal performance, as only 1mm caused significant flexing and premature belt wear. Uploaded IdlerPulleyMK2 design, featuring 26mm Idler OD, 9.5mm belt width, and 22mm bearingOD (can be sanded out if ABS shrinks). Print Settings: Printer: CTC Bizer MK8 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 100% (not necessary due to thin design) Post-Printing Instructions: Place idler on a spindle and gently sand belt and bearing area with ~600 grit sandpaper for a smooth surface. Apply a thin ring of Gel Super Glue on the inner ring to secure it to the bearing. Design Process: Designed using OpenSCAD, incorporating elements from Parametric Pulley scripts for shape creation.
