It has been crafted for an 8mm axle and 100mm space. Utilized with a RockShox Reba 29er fork. The skewer can be inserted to lock the bike in place, just as shown in the photos, but avoid applying too much pressure to prevent damage. I have been using it for nearly two years now, so rest assured, it is far more robust than it appears.
