9mm Double Shear Railcore/Jubilee
thingiverse
Remixed this great design for a 9mm Jubilee printer, which has similar mounting patterns to Railcores (and should be interchangeable on both machines). This was designed for shaft couplers up to 25mm in diameter and 30mm tall (which is the smallest plum coupling I can find right now for 5mm bores). Coupling housing is now 4 walled to handle stresses from Jubilee belt tensioning set-screws. M3 heat set inserts now have a bore 4x7mm to fit Ruthex-style inserts. Printed in XTCF-20 (PETG-CF) and they work wonderfully. Really quiets down stepper noise into the frame of the printer and just makes everything sound butter smooth. BOM: (1x) 5x60mm shaft (or longer this is the bare minimum) (1x) 5x5mm plum coupler (max D25xL30mm) (2x) 625ZZ ball bearing (1x) stepper dampener (astrosyn style) (1x) m5 0.6mm washer (or whatever you got, may need more to set pulley height just right) (11x) Ruthex M3 heat-set insert (4x7mm bore in this design) (3x) M3x10mm socket head screw (for upper bearing plate) (4x) M3x30mm socket head screw (for securing pulley housing thru stepper plate to upper coupling plate) (4x) M3x6mm socket head screw (for mounting NEMA17 to dampener) (4x) M3x40mm socket head screw (for mounting lower assembly to upper coupling plate)
