I designed this kludged-up replacement for the Ford Focus door latch actuation rod retainer clip, which works despite its ugliness. The original part costs $20 plus a $5 shipping fee from Ford, although it may also fit later models of the Focus if you check the part numbers. To print this design, I used my Monoprice Maker Select printer with the following settings: rafts don't matter, supports don't matter, and an infill of 100%. I printed this part using PETG, which has held up for six months with only occasional use, opening the door about twice a day. ABS would be a better choice, but keep in mind that this design may require some filing and fitting to work properly. After printing, you'll need to file and fit this design carefully to ensure it functions correctly. I designed this using Tinkercad.
