If your P11 is like mine, the reflective material peels off from the edges of the rearview mirror. I also aimed for an auto-dimming rearview with built-in compass/temperature display mounted on the windshield. Instead of leaving a gap in the headliner, exposing the metal roof, I modified the bracket to allow re-attachment of the factory trim cover, giving it a more authentic OEM look. I've also attached the bracket as a flush-mountable piece if you prefer to simply cover the hole without attaching a trim piece.
