Remixed this tool to 98% efficiency, tightening its grip on my workbench with every tweak. I've etched my name into it now, so it won't wander off at the wrong moment. Further refinements might be needed, but for now, I'm eager to see how this version holds up. One thing's for sure – I want to avoid using magnets in the base if possible, but it could end up being the best solution yet. The V2 design boasts a cavity perfect for housing a 12.4x2.9 mm magnet inside. Since the hot end is made of brass, there's no risk of it sticking to the magnet when printing. To make this magic happen, simply stop the print at layer 148 (152 if you're using a 4-layer raft), drop in the magnet, and continue where you left off – voila! It works like a charm.
