This is a replacement part designed to secure the top stud of the front parking/turn signal lamp assembly to the headlight panel on 1998 - 2000 North American Ford Rangers. Over time, these plastic connectors become extremely brittle and may completely disintegrate when you try to replace the corner lamps on your truck. Without them in place, it's challenging to get the new lamps to fit properly because the only other retaining options are two screws located at the bottom of the assembly.
