97-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ Center Console Latch

For anyone with this style XJ, the factory latch tends to fail much more often than it remains intact. Most people likely aren't even aware that it's supposed to shut tightly! This design was created using leftover parts from my own latch and some very educated guesses. The thin sections responsible for the flexible hinge may not hold up; if so, look for revision 2 after further testing. After additional testing and Slowcarton's suggestion, I've added a raw version meant to be printed on its side: jeep-latch-side.stl. This modification adds extra strength and allows for more repeated bending of the hinge. I used a 30-degree overhang angle and 30% infill on a raft for excellent print quality. However, it is significantly wasteful when it comes to filament usage.
