Revamped Magnetic Bead Separation Tool. The upgraded magnet holder caters to a 96-well plate or one with cut-out wells taped on top for holding 8 tube strips. Custom KJ magnets are required for this enhanced version, but the improved performance justifies the purchase. The new design pulls beads to the side, facilitating easy pipetting without disrupting them. Key magnet specifications include: 4C3M04 NdFeB Block Magnet, 2.750" x 0.188" x 0.188" dimensions, Grade N42, Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) plated, magnetized through 0.188 in thickness. Order 24 at $6.35 each (minimum order quantity), equivalent to four magnet racks. For tube racks, simply cut the top rings off a 96-well plate and tape it to the magnet rack (as displayed in photos). Note: The previous version utilizes standard magnets (http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=BZ082), not custom order, and positions beads at the bottom instead of the side. Version 303 is recommended due to enhanced performance.
