93% Fill Bucket Drum

This flexible drum design comprises just two components. The separate drums can be linked together to attain any necessary volume. Each drum boasts two scoops for rapid filling and unloading. The internal divider ensures the material inside does not become compressed or clog the scoops, thereby permitting a fill capacity of 93%. When filled at this level, each bucket drum holds approximately 6.09 liters of regolith. Three drums connected in sequence will achieve the desired 17.6 liter volume. This drum design can be adapted to fit other robotic regolith collection vehicles.
