This is a simple side plate designed for use with the Rostock Max V2, directing airflow towards stepper motors and electronics in the process. Airflow direction can be reversed by flipping the design, allowing you to install the plate on the opposite side of the base while achieving IN>OUT airflow when paired with fans positioned accordingly. The design is engineered to accommodate 92mm PC case fans which can be secured to pegs with a simple clip installation process. However, ensure slow speed or 'silent' fans such as those running at 1200rpm are used, lest excess airflow causes the hotbed temperature to drop. Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer Model: Rostock MAX Raft Option: No Rafts Support Options: None Resolution: 0.3mm Layers Infill Level: 5% Notes on Printing Resolution: It was observed that printing at 0.4mm or higher resolutions may necessitate slight trimming of the fan clips for proper fitment, leading to an optimal print resolution of 0.3mm. Post-Printing Precautions: Exercise care when handling the clips. Ensure a snug fit for the pegs within 80mm fan holes by applying gentle pressure.
