92mm fan blade replacement
thingiverse
I made a replacement fan blade assembly for my 92mm fan because the welders at work didn't have two missing fan blades. So, I created this fix to get it running again. It blows a lot of air and might need to be scaled for your specific use though. First, remove the remaining fan blades by snapping them off and then file them down so they're smooth. Then just slide this replacement assembly over the fan ring. If you need to secure it, glue will do the job. Luckily, my assembly had a perfect fit with my application. The inner diameter of the fan ring is 46.8mm and the fan blade diameter is 84mm. I used these print settings: * Printer: wanhao d4s * Rafts: yes * Supports: no * Resolution: .2 My notes are as follows: * printed in ABS plastic with zero infill, four top layers and bottom layers and ten lines of raft to keep the blade tips down.
