My first post here. It's a repost of the Thingiverse object I designed last month. I'm worried people may confuse these for 135-degree bends, but they're definitely not that. Okay, I've noticed no one has done plumbing or pipework with real-world applications, so I'm calling this the Southern Method. Using a single material home printer and printing pipes at 45 degrees without support materials allows finished pipe profiles to be round rather than teardrop shapes to prevent the material from collapsing in on itself at the top. The first rule of plumbing is: don't mess with systems you don't understand. Every modification takes as long as it needs. One system per modification. If this is your first time at Plumbing Club, you've got to plumb. This design is for low-pressure return pipes for gray water at room temperature. Do not use on gas (propane, LPG, butane, domestic gas supplies, or any combustible media). Do not use on hot water or central heating systems (temperature above 40 degrees Celsius; if you don't understand what the greater-than symbol or degree Celsius means, don't use this part!). Do not use on macerated sewage. Do not use in temperatures close to zero degrees Celsius. Don't use under floorboards or similar situations where it can't be seen, monitored, or easily changed. This design is not suitable for nuclear power stations or satellite applications. Use this sensibly. I've used similar designs in hydroponics and they work at low pressure (102 kilopascals/one atmosphere). I'm saying "gray water systems only," but that's a precautionary statement - if you feel your build is safe enough to use on other systems, I'm not your guardian.
