Printed this for my friend's broken 2000 Honda Civic, hoping to replace a missing key head with something functional. If you need the design tweaked, you can easily change it using the pre-cutout file I uploaded online. Now, onto the nitty-gritty of instructions on how to create your own key head: Printing on a Zortrax M200 3D printer at an incredibly fine .14 layer height, using a solid fill method, is recommended. It's also a good idea to pause your print right before it gets ready to add the final layers - carefully inserting the key into its newly printed home is key here. When I first tried printing this out for myself, I encountered a major issue: my printer had trouble adhering to the metal key surface! This made for a bit of a problem as more pauses were required mid-print job using a trusty heat gun and spatula.
