Main gear door mounting bracket for the Freewing 90mm F-22. I opted to use concentric supports on models with rounded ends because they seem to print cleaner on the bottom side that way. The model with square ends prints fine without any supports, however. I've used infill percentages ranging from 20% to 90% in a line or triangle pattern, but haven't conducted any tests to determine if there's a difference in strength. It's clear that less infill makes for a lighter part, but I'm unsure if higher infill necessarily makes the parts stronger when subjected to impact. When installing screws, it's essential to use a "tapping motion". In other words, screw in a bit, then back out a bit, and repeat this process until the screw is fully seated. Then, do not overtighten - just snug the screw in place. Otherwise, you may split the layers of the part.
