My Custom Hemera Mount: A 90° Rotation for Balanced Printing I've taken the liberty of designing my own hemera mount, carefully rotating it by 90 degrees to perfectly complement the gantry of my BLV ender 3 mod. This thoughtful adjustment ensures that my printer is expertly balanced around its center of mass. Notably, this setup slightly reduces the available print volume on the Z-axis, but since I rarely print at extreme heights, this compromise doesn't greatly impact my overall printing experience. To maintain a minimal BLtouch-Offset, I've precisely set it to 21 mm along the X-axis. This attention to detail guarantees optimal performance from my printer. A word of caution: although the belt holding mechanism functions flawlessly, the loop provided with the BLV kit falls woefully short. Unfortunately, I only discovered this after completely disassembling my printer – a costly lesson learned the hard way! To rectify this issue, I've opted to utilize the bed belt instead, wrapping it snugly around a screw inserted through the available hole. For the bed itself, I removed the crimped ferrules from the original bed belt, which proved to be just long enough for my needs.
