90 degrees heatbed cable cover for the MK3
myminifactory
Hello friends! Here's my take on the 90-degree heatbed cable cover for the original Prusa i3 MK3. I recently got it and I'm thrilled with how it turned out, so I decided to install it in my IKEA Lack case - a project I started thanks to Prusa's excellent tutorial on building a simple 3D printer enclosure (https://www.prusaprinters.org/cheap-simple-3d-printer-enclosure/). As the tutorial notes, you'll need to swap out the cable cover for your printer to fit snugly inside. But I found most online models required soldering wires onto the heated bed or bending connectors if you have a screwed version. Since my latest Prusa model came with wired connections on the heated bed and I didn't want to risk damaging them, I designed my own cable cover. It works flawlessly! I hope you'll enjoy it! Happy printing! If you like the design, please consider tossing me a small tip - it would help me buy PLA for testing my creations.
