90-degree VESA bracket, 2-part
thingiverse
The original creator of an object should not be outdone by a company that patents their work. It's just plain theft or at least immoral, something decent people don't do. I found a 90-degree adapter for my VESA mount but it was too large for my RepRap build area, so I decided to experiment with OpenSCAD and design one myself. I wanted the adapter to be made of two identical parts held together by bolts, and to add strength, interlocking bits and a crude fillet along the triangular brace were included in the design. At the last minute, square-shaped holes were added for reduced print time and plastic use, as well as potentially adding more strength. Print two of these and bolt them together before attaching to your VESA monitor and VESA mount using M5 fasteners or other appropriate fasteners. This design is meant for that purpose.
