Like many people, I wanted to enhance my workspace with some led strips on my desk. Having a new Ikea Bekant desk, I was hesitant to drill too many screw holes into it, so I've been using various types of velcro to attach items to the underside of the desk. In addition to having lights point downwards towards the floor, I also wanted to direct some straight against the wall. However, I didn't want to stick a strip to the back edge of my table top because if I ever needed to remove it, I wouldn't want the adhesive to damage any outer desk material, and I thought having the LED right on the edge of the desk wouldn't look great. I took this design and imported it into Tinkercad, then added a thicker section to the back, covering the screw hole, so that the LED channel could point towards the back of my desk. This allowed me to use a 1" thick velcro strip at the top to attach it to my desk. I made three of these to secure the channel to the desk. The middle piece served as a great way to connect two pieces of aluminum channel together, and it worked perfectly!
