9 Round Glock 43 Magazine Extender (remix)

Total capacity is 9 rounds, so this is a plus 3 extension. I used the original erniepike model as the start, and built it up from there. Mine is wider, for better purchase on the grip, and longer, to accommodate the extra round. And a little extra long to give the spring some breathing room. Also over-extends out the back a couple millimeters to match up with my HOGUE rubber grip. And a few other tweaks. You will need to stretch the stock spring out about an inch, otherwise the slide wont lock open after the last round. When installing it, be sure it snaps completely over the lip into place. You will need to cut this lip off with a razor knife (its easy) if you want to take it back off later. If you don't get it snapped completely over retaining lip, and into the proper position, it will cause the magazine spring to bind up on something, usually after the first round discharges. Also, I think it looks best if you install the spring plate upside down. And hit it with a clear-coat of matte/flat clear spray paint, to take away the shine. Godspeed!
