This remix takes moononournation's awesome moon model and adds a base that's threaded for a small IKEA HEMMA table lamp. The lamp is inexpensive and widely available at IKEA stores, which happened to have one lying around: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80416156/. The 9-inch size was chosen because it scales well with an inflatable globe found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H627BHO/. To complete the setup, I purchased bulbs that meet specific requirements: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JWGQ4NT. These bulbs are small enough to fit over the lamp, have a daylight color for the desired look, and are LED to minimize heat output. Initially, incandescent nightlight bulbs were used at Home Depot, but they caused the top of the moon to become soft and pointed after a short period.
