This 3D printer boasts a 120-liter volume and an intuitive design that requires no tools for assembly. It's highly compact when disassembled and perfect for fitting specifications. Testing the STL in Netfabb confirmed acceptable mesh quality and printable single parts. The recommended material is ABS, printed with a low-density hexagonal pattern infill, specified at gcode generation level. After final assembly, the volume reduces to 110 liters, still well within weight constraints. Structural rigidity is provided by the poles, which can be made of carbon fiber or fiberglass, but an intriguing experiment could use nylon for a 95% 3D printed board. Further FEA analysis of nylon poles can be conducted with more time. Note that dimensional tolerances for mates are not calculated, a task that will be completed upon request.
