# Wat's dis?? It's an configurable adapter for fitting up to three SFF-8552 shaped devices (those fancy 9.5mm optical disc drives, sometimes found on laptops) into a single half height SFF-8551 shaped receptacle (those not-as-fancy bigger disc drive bays on computers). When installed, the front face plate of the 9.5mm drive is completely flush with the surface of the PC (or enclosure), and the rear of the adapter exposes the entirety of the drive, allowing connection of any other adapter or device to the drives. Additionally, stacking multiple of these units will result in equal spacing of the 9.5mm drives. Note: 1 to 5 M2 screws and a screw driver with a neck smaller than 5mm in diameter is required to affix each drive into the adapter.
