The original 9.5mm SSD to DVD Rom caddy I used for my Dell M4500 was purchased from http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=451; it had an angular bezel, as shown in the picture on the left. Upon acquiring a Dell M4700, I noticed that it required a flat bezel instead. To save money and avoid cutting the LED again, I decided to create a new caddy model. After four attempts, I successfully modified the slimSATA-eSATAp-C06 model into OBHD9-SATA-SATA-B. This modification might work for generic SSD to DVD caddies without faceplates, but adjustments to the mounting holes would be necessary due to their varying designs. The provided SLDPRT file and step file can be utilized for this purpose. To print the new caddy, ensure that it is printed face down on the build platform without support or rafts, as the small holes will not require any supports.
