The core of Sikarian zoethurgy, the blue elves’ life magic, a kaimera is a mutated lifeform, altered by the experiments of sikari sages. Kaimerai are the embodiment of the blue elves’ goal: to play with the laws of life. Some kaimera look like normal animals, with just a couple utility modifications; others are true horrors, displaying an impossible mix or traits, or shapes and functions that are not present in any other living creature. There are kaimerai of all sizes, colors and shapes, although blue elves prefer them to be small enough to keep as pets, or to parade before their peers. The more shocking the kaimera’s appearance, however, the better.
