8x32 Matrix Display with PIR, Temperature, and Humidity
thingiverse
This case is for the 8x32 led matrix using MAX7219 chip. The diffuser should be printed using white or clear (I prefer white) and printed with the front surface up (you will need supports), this gives a nicer finish. The front I printed face down which on my printer gave a nice enough finish, again you need supports. The rear I printed back down, this gave a nice finish top. The pins on the end of the matrix need to be cut flush, and wires soldered direct to the rear of the board - This allows the case to be printed on a 150mm 3d printer. I have also added supports for the esp32 circuit board, you need two of these, they clip into the holes on the matrix. THE PCB I used is the ElectroCookie Snappable PCB 3.8" x 3.5". There are holes for an active piezo buzzer, a DHT22 for temperature/humidity, and a PIR. The dot matrix/diffuser, dht22, and buzzer will all need a spot of hotglue etc to hold securely. The rear case slides in and is secured by two screws. Amazon list of parts https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1IIT6LCSI5H6S?ref_=wl_share
