If you're one of the MANY people that got duped by the NUMEROUS Fake Positive Reviews at that company named after the River in South America, and you bought the Oculus Quest 2 Head Strap advertised as: "8VR Head Strap with Battery for Oculus Quest 2", this quick print will make the Head Strap actually usable, and your VR Gaming much more comfortable... The "Rubberized Head Cradle" at the back of the 8VR Head Strap is locked in place so it doesn't touch your head fully.. Yes, it feels better than a stock head strap, but when you add this tiny mod to allow the stationary "Rear Head Cradle" to swivel so it will contact the back of your head FULLY, it'll feel SO MUCH BETTER! It actually feels so much better after this mod that you may think something is wrong, until you start moving around and realize how secure the new fit is... it's now balancing the head-set's weight on the entire back of your head, as it should. NO, your head is NOT "Funny Shaped".. 8VR's Rear Head Strap Cradle doesn't fit ANYONE the way it's sold. The rear cradle needs to swivel to fully contact "a HUMAN head". NO.. You aren't using the built-in battery wrong.. it simply WILL NOT keep up with actual internal battery usage during any type of serious game play (Sorry, I can't do anything about that part of the many problems with this Head Strap.. My wife and I simply strap a 10,000mAh external Battery Pack on our Headsets for 7-9+ hours of playing "Population: One"). Anyway, this is a very quick print, and it doesn't require you to make permanent mods to your Head Strap.. Just pull the stiff rubberize rear Head Cradle straight forward to pop it lose from the two plug sockets (One on each side), put this swivel into the Head Strap's plug/port where the Rubberized Cradle *was* plugged in (Pay attention to the way it should plug in by looking at the original plug on the cradle), Plug the Cradle's plugs into the new swivel's sockets, and then enjoy the vastly more comfortable feel and added security of the headset.
