Ethernet plugs always getting crushed when you step on them and malfunctioning with mashed plastic obstructing the contacts? Or the clips snap off and then they won't stay securely in the jack? Try using an ethercap protector or the original design, which features a face on the end. I simply added a solid surface to maybe keep dirt out of the small opening.
