I opted not to employ two 8mm nuts, forcing them together to prevent a threaded rod from slipping off my filament holders. Instead, I created and 3D printed these hand wheels/thumb screws that directly thread onto an 8mm rod with a snug interference fit, ensuring they stay securely in place without spinning loosely.
