Here are the rod holders I'm using for 8mm rod. They work great, but you have to take your time to install them correctly. You'll need a caliper to make accurate measurements. Also, if you drill a little into the base holes, you'll get some extra movement for error correction. There are two files: - 8mm hole through hole - 8mm 15mm depth You can try whatever you want. To set up, I recommend assembling the rods, linear bearings, and bed first. Once you have that done and your rods are parallel and centered, measure the exact distance between them. Insert the four rod holders. Then, use American tape or something similar to temporarily fix the holders, taking your time to get the correct distance between the rods and between a single rod and the profile center. Now you can tighten the screws. Put some grease in the rods. Have fun!
