Here's what you're looking at - a functional prototype for an 8mm rod holder, very much a work in progress at this point. The design involves slipping the rod into one end and then attaching it to a board using a screw. This particular piece was crafted with the intention of holding together the intricate mechanics of a small windmill installed on my backyard shed's roof.
