I designed and created replacement Y-rod holders for my printer after noticing that one of the stock components was cracking. To ensure durability, I replaced all of them with this new design. Made from 8mm rod, these holders securely fasten to 2020 aluminum extrusion using a T-nut. The dimensions are optimized so they can be printed directly in PLA without any need for sanding. One side features a smaller hole that prevents the rods from slipping out if friction is insufficient.
