These flexible material printed 8MM rod mounts provide effective assistance in reducing the noise generated by Y bed movement on most i3 type printers with a 2020 frame setup, and may also offer benefits for other frames featuring 2020 extrusions. The bright yellow components are made of flexible material, while the red (clamp) parts can be printed using PLA or any other preferred material. While these mounts do help to minimize noise levels, they are not a complete solution. However, they do manage to reduce the amount of vibrations transmitted through to the frame without introducing any slop into the carriage's movement.
