I'm upgrading my old Prusa Air with lead screws on the z-axis. There isn't enough material to catch the lead screw nuts on the plastic pieces that hold the x-axis smooth rods. So I created this adapter to be glued into the opening for the regular M8 nut. The four holes for the screws are threaded with M3. Print Settings Printer: Cherry Pi Delta modified Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Post-Printing I drilled the large hole to 8.5mm and the small holes to 2.5mm, then threaded them with a M3 tap. The adapter was glued in place using epoxy, which fills the gaps slightly. It works perfectly. How I Designed This Designed in Sketchup, file included
