8mm ignition wire looms (updated)
thingiverse
Slight Update, New Versions Added Below These handy wire loom spacers are designed to fit 8mm ignition wires perfectly and also work well with 7.5mm and a bit loosely but okay for 7mm. You can easily scale them differently in your slicer software to get an exact fit for larger wires like 8.5mm and others. Unlike expensive parts boutique versions that tend to be larger, these spacers are quick to print and inexpensive to make, allowing you to afford making a bunch of them to route your ignition wires neatly. I designed and printed these spacers because I needed them to properly route a new set of wires on one of our vehicles late at night when parts stores were closed. The vehicle is sensitive to wire spacing and order, but since then, I've used these spacers on other vehicles including motorcycles. You'll find many other wire looms on this website, but I wanted these to have holes for tie-wraps (if needed) and a specific configuration. Update: I've added longer length versions for two through six wires that are smoother and put less compression on the wires. I'm using them on a vehicle that experiences a lot of vibration and road shock. They don't have tie-wrap loops because I ended up not using them anyway, but they might be useful for you. I'm not sure why they don't appear in previews, but I hope they'll show soon. I've also posted these separately to see if the 3D views will display properly: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4103478 Thanks for looking.
