8mm Frame Filament Spool Holder

This filament holder attaches securely to the top of an 8mm 3D printer frame, utilizing a sturdy 8mm threaded rod to firmly hold the spool in place. In order to optimize print settings, the model was rotated 90 degrees about the y-axis for the right arm, which is the model provided. To reduce support material and speed up printing time, the left arm was mirrored in the slicer and then rotated 290 degrees around the y-axis. For added convenience, a Universal Filament Spool Holder was used to secure the spool onto the 8mm threaded rod, available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:767317. Note that the specified angles are not essential for a successful print; they merely represent the angles used during testing to determine their effectiveness.
