8mm film scanner printed parts
thingiverse
This project consists of the components you need to print if you wish to construct my 8mm film scanner. It operates on Arduino and utilizes a genuine Bolex film gate from the 1960s. To see the device in action, along with instructions on how to build one, visit my blog at: http://www.sabulo.com/sb/category/8mm-film/ Print Settings: Printer: MiniFactory Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 20% Design Process: I employed Blender to create and align all components, then exported them one by one as STL files for printing. The film gate was reprinted three times after redesigning it to accommodate the servo that runs the film. All other parts remain at version 1.0.
