I was fed up with those dowel jig/drill helpers I had, so I built my own custom versions from scratch. To guarantee a precise 90-degree angle for the drill bit, I utilized two basic ball bearings measuring 8mmx22mmx7mm each in the lead to guide it accurately. The surface area without the brackets measures 57x37mm. You can choose to use either the side with the brackets or rotate the jig to accommodate larger flat surfaces. Keep in mind that if you decide to use them in this position, make sure to align the facing borders (without the brackets) for orientation because the brackets add an extra 2mm. Otherwise, the holes on the two parts will differ by 2mm, as evident from the pictures "usage_1" and "usage_2".
