This dowel jig is designed for a 22mmx69mm PAR pine. The dowels are spaced 30mm, 15mm either side of the centre. The print can be used with or without the bearings as is has a 8mm guide on the side of the wood. If used with a bearing, a 608 bearing (ø22mm external. ø8mm internal and 7mm depth)fits with a 0.5mm tolerance (in other words, the holes for the bearings are ø22.5) at zero tolerance the bearing is too tight and splits the print. If too loose the outer ring of the bearing can be glued with epoxy or superglue. The jig is made slightly smaller than the 69mm to allow for clamping.
