8mm Cine Development Reel

This is an 8mm cine development tank reel, capable of holding an unknown quantity of film stock, likely between 50 and 100 feet. My print bed size limits the capacity, so I'm aiming to pack as much as possible into a 220mm space. This design remains unfinished, with no printed prototype yet created. Cine processing support is scarce, and commercial reels often come with high price tags on online marketplaces like eBay. Shipping from international locations such as Siberia can be unreliable, resulting in damaged products upon arrival in the US. I designed this project last year but rediscovered it after seeing another user working on a similar concept. If this design proves useful, I'll also create a functional development tank with an integrated light trap.
