8mm Bearing/Bush Block (LM8UU IGUS Style)
thingiverse
Update (29/03/17): The holes on the block were misaligned, but this issue has been fixed. (28/03/17) I designed this bearing block with a split design for several key reasons. Easier fitting - IGUS style bearings can be tough to fit because guide rods don't have chamfered edges. The split design lets you open up the bearing slightly so fitting becomes easier. Printing Accuracy - Because these bearings can be opened and closed, you don't need to fine-tune your printer for them to work well. Adjustability - As the bearing wears out, you can adjust the tension to compensate, which should lead to a longer bearing life and better performance. Print with 10% infill for a flexible part. Tap the holes to M4 (The top holes on the split side are larger to allow correct operation). I recommend using M4 bolts so you can adjust the tension without having to disassemble the heat bed.
