This standoff should be simple to adapt for any height the user needs to reach (within reason). In Freecad, open up the file and access the first sketch. Modify "constraint 25" to whatever number you want, just remember to add 12mm to the desired height. The center of the hole is 12mm from the end, so if you need a 50mm height, set "Constraint 25" to 62mm. The bar can be clamped in place with a 20mm M3 bolt, washer, and nut, and it can also be secured to the surface with two M6 bolts. You may have to run an 8mm drill through the hole to get the bar to fit properly.
