8mm ACME Thread Z-Shaft Handle, fits Creality Ender 3, CR-10
thingiverse
I designed this handle to fit perfectly on my Ender 3 printer. It's specifically made for 8mm ACME-threaded shafts and should work seamlessly with any of them. I had grown tired of manually spinning it by hand and found it challenging to push the X-axis upward without extra effort. Version one features a press-on design, which is held in place by two M3 set screws. However, I realized that these tiny set screws can be tricky to handle, so I opted for a different approach with version two. The second version has a loose fit, allowing it to slide onto the shaft and secure it firmly using two M4 set screws. This is the setup I'm currently using, and it works beautifully. I've also created a variant with 8x1.5 Trapezoidal (ACME) threads, as per the Ender 3's technical drawings. If anyone wants to give it a try and share their experience, that would be fantastic!
