Struggling to find high-quality imagery of Earth? Worry not! I've spent countless hours obtaining, processing, and converting planetary maps into artist-friendly formats. My dedication has resulted in exceptional textures. This map specifically utilizes data from the Suomi NPP satellite, which records a wide range of observations, both natural and artificial light sources. By combining and cleaning data from various time ranges, I've created a stunning 16-bit nightlights map of Earth with an impressive resolution of 86400 by 43200. Detailing is so precise that individual roads emit visible light! However, note that the accuracy near poles might be slightly lower due to projection constraints. To cater to various needs, the download comes in four different sizes: 86k, 43k, 21k, and 8k archives. Textures are delivered in TIFF format.
