85mm GPU fan to 92mm case fan adapter
thingiverse
The 85mm fans on my GPU started making a rattling noise. Instead of removing the plastic shroud from my graphics card and securing the fans to the cooler with zip ties, I decided to hone my fusion skills and create an adapter for using 92mm case fans as replacements for the 85mm fans. **STEP file and mount sketches are included** to make modifications more straightforward. As a side note, if you look at the image of the card, it's clear that Sapphire designed the third fan mount with a different rotation than the other two. It's likely that these variations will need to be accommodated when modifying this design. If you want to get creative, you might consider thickening the bottom cylinder wall by 4-6mm, removing the three-pronged mount section, cutting slots into the side of the wall, and installing keys on the three-prong mount so that it can rotate freely within the duct without coming loose.
